The law proceedings between telephone corporations
Everybody should realize that one minute consists of sixty seconds. But lately one of the IDT corporations declared that lots of companies, that provide calling cards, give only 36 seconds in exchange of 60. IDT in juristic proceedings against a number of their competitors announced that it is difficult to vie on a level playing field if a minute is not one minute. Last year IDT/UTA (Union Telecard Alliance) iniciated a suit against several corporations-providers of prepaid phone cards alleging erroneous advertisement and deceptive trade operations.
That is hard to realize, but some of unjust card promoters deliver just approximately 60% of minutes, which were paid for. Recently Total Call International and IDT/UTA was blamed for illegitimate actions by the group of phone corporations that comprised IDT Telecom Inc. and LLC. That is the fourth group of accused which have settled the enforcement proceedings initiated by IDT/UTA. Another settling accused companies today are Epana Networks, Inc., Dollar Phone Corp. and related corporations, and Locus Telecommunications, Inc. IDT/UTA's suit versus the residuary accused is still continuing in federal court in Newark, New Jersey. To make everybody know the new telephone service terms and payment mode, one of the corporations announced the advertising notice on their website.
